Fixed Assets Register Report shows incorrect Acquisition Date

Scenario:

 

Customer runs the Fixed Assets Register Report (Fixed Assets > Reports > Asset Register) and notices that the Acquisition Date does not show the correct date as found on the asset record > Depreciation History tab > Acquisition record.

 

 

Recommendation:

 

View the related asset record > General tab > Verify the Depreciation Start Date field. This is the date which is pulled from the Asset Register Report's Acquisition Date.

 

Note: Enhancement : 235618 was filed to request for the ability to change the name header of the Acquisition Date to Depreciation Start Date on the Fixed Assets Register Report.
