Specifying account for ODBC query


If you have several accounts connecting to ODBC while using a single user log-in, you can specify the account where you would like to get the data of the query from, by following the format below:

SELECT fieldname FROM "account name".role.table

You can verify the account name by going to Setup > Company > Company Information > Company Name.

Make sure that the ODBC Connections for Advanced Reporting Capability feature is enabled on the account where you are to run the query.

You can enable the said feature by checking the ODBC Connections for Advanced Reporting Capability checkbox on Setup > Company > Enable Features > Company Tab > Data Management > ODBC Connections for Advanced Reporting
