Transaction Types Expected to Display in the Sales by Item Summary/ Detail Report

From the Help Guide (Marketing, Sales Force Automation, and Partners : Sales Force Automation : Sales Reports: Sales by Item Summary Report) , the Sales by Item is defined as: The Sales by Item Summary report is a general overview of your sales in dollar amounts by item.

• It does not explicitly say whether they are expected to show transactions such as sales orders, or cash sales, etc. only.
• To confirm this, check the detail report and the following transaction types showed up: Cash Sale, Invoice, Credit Memo and Cash Refund.
• The above transaction types surely hit the GL accounts.
