Unable to create a new Subtotal Item using the name Subtotal returns error message 'There is already an item with that name. Go back, change the name and re-submit'

1.  Navigate to List > Accounting > Items > Click New > Select Subtotal Item.

2.  In the Item Name/Number field, type 'Subtotal' > Hit Save.

3.  Error message:

There is already an item with that name. Go back, change the name and resubmit.

4.  Navigate to List > Accounting > Items > Set Type to Subtotal > none of the items shows up with that name.

5. This happens because the default Subtotal Item is named 'Subtotal' and this particular line item available on transactions will not show on Item List.

6.  This can be validated when you create a Sales Order > Items tab > click Line Item > click List > Select Item Type Subtotal > Notice that the item with name 'Subtotal' show up in the list.

7.  The default Subtotal Item is also not available in Global Search.

8.  Either open an existing transaction with the Default Subtotal item in it or if none found, create a new sample Sales Order for testing purposes.

9.  On Edit Mode, click the Subtotal Item name to open the record. Rename it and hit Save. The change is retroactive.  All existing transactions will be updated and the new name of the item will now appear on old transactions.

10. Navigate to List > Accounting > Items > Click New > Select Subtotal > Enter Name 'Subtotal' > Hit Save.  You are now able to save without changes.

11.  Based on test, the default Subtotal Item is originally set with 'null' as its name.  Once changed, this will now be the new name of the default Subtotal item.
