The Change in a Serial Number from Upper Case to Lower Case or vice versa Creates Two Different Serial Records

1.  Serial Numbers are case sensitive, hence, changing at least one letter from upper case to lower case or vice versa will result in creating two different Serial Number records.

2.  Changing the Serial Numbers directly from the Serial Number record is not an option, it can only be done on a transaction level.  However, if the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management feature is enabled, changing the Serial Number  on a transaction level is no longer possible.
