Updating customer records with User Notes via CSV Import involves the following steps:
I. Identify the Customer record that users would like to update with User Notes and take note of the ID (Lists > Relationships > Customers > see the ID column).
II. On the User Notes CSV Import file, add column for ID (of the Customer record)
*CSV Import file should have atleast the following columns:
III. Import via CSV:
1. Navigate to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records.
2. For Import Type select Communications.
3. For Record Type select Notes.
4. Click Select button to find the CSV Import File > Hit Next.
5. Under Data Handling select Add > Hit Next.
6. On the Field Mapping page, match the following fields:
ID < > Entity
Title < > Title
Note < > Memo
7. Click Next.
8. Click Save and Run.
Once done, view the Customer record > Communication > User Notes > User Notes are added accordingly.
