SSP Template Tags Get Deleted upon Replacing a Template File


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to Documents > Files > File Cabinet> Web Site Hosting Files > Live Hosting Files > SSP Applications > NetSuite Inc. >Custom Checkout > Templates
2. Click the Add File button and replace it with an existing template file.
3. You will see that the template file has been replaced and the tag associated with it has been deleted.

A solution to this would be as follows:

1. To edit a single file:

Edit the actual file by going to  Documents > Files > File Cabinet> Web Site Hosting Files > Live Hosting Files > SSP Applications > NetSuite Inc. > Custom Checkout > Templates > edit the desired template file record> click on Edit to edit the actual file and save.

2. To update multiple files without deleting the template tags:

Create a duplicate copy of the templates and save it in a custom folder within the File Cabinet. After editing the duplicate copies, move/copy these files and overwrite the original template from the Template Folder.

Ensure that the duplicate copies have the same name as the original otherwise a new file is then created.

For example,

a. Add a template file cart.txt to File Cabinet folder (Documents > Files > File Cabinet > Web Hosting Files > Live Hosting Files >SSP Applications > NetSuite Inc. > Custom CheckoutCustom Folder)
b. Copy the cart.txt to Templates folder(Click Copy Files button > Select cart.txt > Copy To =  Documents > Files >File Cabinet> Web Site Hosting Files > SSP Applications > NetSuite Inc. >Custom Checkout > Templates )
c. If user checks the cart.txt in the new folder, the template tag for this file has been preserved.
