Difference between Workflow statuses Inactive and Not Running

Workflows set to Not Running will continue to appear in the Workflows list view under  Customization > Workflow >  Workflows

Workflows set to Inactive will not show up in the Workflows list view under  Customization > Workflow > Workflows, unless "Show Inactives" is checked.

Notes:
1. Setting a Workflow status to Inactive prevents further workflow initiation. However it does not cancel any record instances that are already in the workflow.

2. There is no difference between using nlapiTriggerWorkflow() and nlapiInitiateWorkflow() SuiteScripts regarding these two statuses.
