Show Auto-Generated Number of Customer on Transaction Form PDF Layout

In Basic PDF templates, the auto-generated number of the customer can be included by adding the Acct. No. field on the form. Here are the steps:
  1. Navigation to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
  2. Customize or Edit the form where Acct. No. should be included.
  3. On the Custom Transaction Form page, make sure Printing Type = Basic.
  4. Click Printing Fields subtab > Header sublist.
  5. Check Print/Email for Acct. No.
  6. Click Save.


  • If auto-generated number for Customer is disabled on Setup > Company > Auto-Generated Number, the Acct. No. field will show the Customer field on the transaction.
