Steps to Add a Field or Custom Field into Advanced Printing PDF/HTML Template

Advanced printing PDF/HTML template can be customized in a various ways. One of the most used is adding a custom field or a field which is available in the record. Standard fields can be found in Record Browser.

How to add a field to Advanced printing PDF/HTML template:
1. Get internal ID of the field. Go to Record Browser for standard fields or go to custom field definition and get field ID
2. Open Advanced printing PDF/HTML template page in Customization > Forms > Advanced PDF/HTML Templates
3. Open template you want to customize (click Customize for standard templates or Edit for customized templates)
4. Right click on area where you want the field to be placed
5. Choose Cell > Insert Cell After
6. Write placeholder into the newly created cell
7. Save the form
