Create an Invoice Search Form Using Date Created and Item as Filters

A.    Create a Simple Invoice Type Saved Search


-       Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New

-       Search Type = Transaction

-       In Criteria tab > Standard subtab > Filter, choose Type = Invoice

-       In Available Filters tab > Check the box for My Preferred Form

-       In Available Filters tab > Filter, add the following

o    Date Created

o    Item

-       Hit Save


B.    Add a Search Form portlet on the Home dashboard


-       Click Home tab

-       Click Personalize Dashboard

-       In Add Content box > Standard Content, click Search Form

-       The Search Form portlet will appear on the dashboard

-       Click the Dropdown icon > Setup in the Search Form portlet

-       Find the saved search created in part A above in the Search Form dropdown and hit Save

-       The two filters, Date Created and Item will then appear on the portlet to be used when searching invoices that match these filters.
