Getting a Permission Violation when doing a Letter Merge from a Customer Record

When doing a Letter Merge from a Customer Record. Make sure that users have access of at least View Permission Access Level to the record which users are trying to do the merge on.

Users may open the Contact record to make sure that users can access the record.

Note: Most common instances when the permission violation is received is when users are doing a Letter Merge to a Contact: Employee record wherein the role used does not have access to Employee records.
