Printing Packing Slip > the form used is not always the preferred one

When switching from Standard to Custom form for printing the Packing Slip of an Item Fulfillment, the preferred form (checked as Preferred in the Setup > Customization > Transaction Forms list) is not always used.

This is a Defect (#280271 – Transactions > Sales > Fulfill Orders > Item Fulfillment > Print: the preferred form is not always used).

There is an alternate solution for this. Therefore, in order to make sure the form used for printing the Packing Slip is the needed one, please follow the steps bellow:

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms > Edit the Preferred Sales Order.
2. Go on the Linked Forms tab.
3. In the packing Slip field, please choose the form which should be used for printing the Packing Slip.
4. Save.
   

This should allow users to set the desired form to be used when printing the Item Fulfillment on the Packing Slip.
