One obstacle of having USPS integrate with NetSuite is that USPS's APIs do not directly offer the ability to print postage and other key functionality; users must integrate through one of NetSuite's authorized partners - Endicia.
NetSuite's Product Management Team decided to integrate with Endicia to provide USPS shipping functionality similar to UPS/FedEx.
