Unable to Create Journal Entry > Error: Account No Match in the transaction line item

Findings:

·        Currency restriction (e.g. USD) in Lists > Accounting >Accounts (Chart of Accounts) > account record does not match the Currency field value (e.g. AUD) enteredin the Journal Entry transaction

·        Mismatch will trigger the prompt "Account No Match" in the Journal Entry

 

Solution:

User can either:

·        Enter a different account in the Journal Entry that has no Currency field restriction or

·        Enter a different account in the Journal Entry whose Currency field restriction matches the transaction's Currency field value or

·        Enter the Currencyfield value of the account record in the Journal Entry's Currencyfield then choose the account in the transaction line item level
