Create a saved search showing parent matrix items whose child items have quantities on hand

Here are the steps in creating this saved search:

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New.
2. Click on the Item link.
3. In the Standard Criteria tab, add the following:

Matrix Child Item is true

4. In the Results tab, add the following fields:

Field: Parent
Summary Type: Group

Field: Inventory Location

Field: On Hand
Summary Type: Sum

5. Go back to the Summary Criteria tab, and mark the Use Expressions checkbox.
6. Add the following fields:

Parens: (
Summary Type: Sum
Field: On Hand
Description: is 0
And/Or: Or

Summary Type: Sum
Field: On Hand
Description: is empty
Parens: )

7. Rename the search and click on the Save & Run button.
