Prior to Google Chrome version 3.0, RSS is natively supported in the browser. Starting Google Chrome version 3.0, you will get the actual XML code when viewing RSS feeds through their URL, unlike in Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari which displays the actual content.
Google Chrome users can use the free RSS Subscription Extension to display the content of the feed:
