CSV Import: Customers Only > Adding a new Customer also creates a new Contact Record

This is not a problem in CSV Import. If the General Preference Show Individuals as Contacts is enabled, Individual Type Customer records created through the UI or through CSV Import will show in the list of Contacts. This preference should be disabled if you do not want Individual Customers to show on the List of Contacts

1. Navigate to Setup > Company > General Preferences.

2. Verify if the Show Individuals as Contacts box is checked.

3. If so, uncheck the box.

4. Hit Save.
