Search for Negative Serial Numbers of an Item if the Advance Bin Management feature is enabled

If Inventory Detail tab quantity is different from Location on Hand Quantity subtab (Purchasing/Inventory tab) on the Item Record, is it possible that there is a negative serial number.

Because the Inventory Detail tab does not display negative serial numbers, generate a Saved Transaction Search with the following steps below:

1.    Navigate to List> Search> Saved Searches> New> Transaction
2.    Criteria tab> Standard subtab:
-    Mark the Use Expressions check box
-    Parens| Filter | Description| Parens | And/Or
-    ( | Item | is DHG00344-001-r01 (Note: Specific item name)|    | And    
-      | Posting | is true |  | And
-      | Type | is not Bin Putaway Worksheet |   | And
-      | Applied To Transaction: Type | is none of Purchase Order, Sales Order, Transfer Order |  )  | Or
-      | Type  | is Item Receipt |    |

3.    Summary tab:
-    Summary Type | Field | Description
Sum | Transaction Serial/ Lot Number Quantity | is less than 0

4.    Results tab:
Sort By = Location
Then By = Transaction Serial/Lot Number

5.    Columns subtab:

Location | Group
Date |
Type|
Transactions Serial/Lot Number | Group
Transactions Serial/Lot Number Quantity | Sum

6.    Enter Search Title and click Save & Run button
