Expose Gift Certificate Column in a Transaction

Gift message can only be shown on a sales order or cash sale if Gift Certificate column is shown as a column on the custom form. If a user uses a custom sales order/cash sale form, make sure that the Gift Certificate column is exposed. Detailed steps to customize the form as follows:

1.    Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.

2.    Choose the custom form and click Edit.

3.    Navigate to Screen Fields > Columns.

4.    Mark the Show check box beside Gift Certificate.

5.    Click Save.

When you create a sales order/cash sale, enter the gift certificate item. Click on the Gift Certificate column and the following fields will be shown on the pop up window:
