Set Up Registration as a Wholesale/Retail Customer in the Webstore


 
Create the Wholesale and Retail customer category.

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Lists.
2. In the Type dropdown at the bottom of the page, select Customer Category.
3. Click on the New button at the bottom right corner of the page.
4. In the Customer field, enter 'Wholesale'.
5. Click on the Save button.
6. Do the same for 'Retail'.
 
Create the custom field that will display in the webstore registration form.

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Entity Fields > New.
2. Enter the name of the field in the Label field.
3. Select List/Record in the Type dropdown.
4. Select Customer Category in the List/Record dropdown.
5. In the Applies to tab, check the Customer and Website checkbox.
6. In the Validation & Defaulting tab, check the Mandatory checkbox if user would like to make the field mandatory.
7. Click on the Save button.
